Hello, all. I'm trying to burn a playlist to a blank CD-R on my dual G5, but it's not working. I put in the CD-R in the superdrive, and I hear the CD fans kick in, then the CD appears on the desktop with the name "Untitled CD".

So far so good. Then I open iTunes, and the playlist I want to burn. I hit the "burn CD" button on the top right corner (which is grayed-out at first), and then hit it again once the yellow/black burn logo appears, and it begins burning the CD.

Here's when it goes all weird. When it's done burning, a second image of the CD appears on the desktop, with the playlist title, under the "untitled CD" icon that originally showed up when I inserted the CD-R. So I have 2 CD icons on the desktop, one of them blank, and the other with all the songs burned in AAC format, when the preferences say it should burn as a regular Audio CD. When I hit the eject button, the CD with the AAC playlist ejects, and it's icon disappears, but the "untitled CD" icon remains on the desktop!

Any ideas? I had previously burned several CD-Rs on this same computer about a month ago without a problem, so I'm assuming it's got something to do with iTunes. What's even weirder is that my fiancée's iBook G4 is having the SAME exact problem burning CD-Rs. If you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it!

EDIT: Actually, I think I just found another thread about the same problem:

If anyone has any more info, however, please post!
