Trouble burning CD

Hi. I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS X 10 and have recently run into CD burning problems. I've done it a million times before but for some reason it's not working now and I'm stumped. In iTunes 7 when I try to burn a disc, it says "attempt to burn failed" and then I can't eject the disc without restarting computer. Anyone seen this? What should I do? PLEASE HELP!

Try repairing disk permissions (in disk utility...)
