Alright, I recently got a CD player and am trying to burn some CDs. I set all my preferences, saw thatiTuens saw my burner drive, and set it to improt and burn standard 320 kbs AAC. I put some CDs in, imported, made a playlist, put in my Virbatim CD-RW, and clicked burned. After a few seconds it ejected and said "unkown error." I switched the preferences to MP3s rather than AACs but that didn't solve the problem. So, I put in a Sony CD-R to all it does now when I clik burn is lock up for a while.

Any ideas?x.x

Try changing the 'Preferred Burning Speed' in iTunes preferences to 4x.
Slow but reliable... I burn all my audio CDs at this speed and never a coaster. What's more, the ones burned at a slower speed tend to play more reliably on CD players.

If this doesn't work, then it may be a hardware problem but I'm just guessing...

On mine if you try and burn an mp3 cd with AAC files it won't do it - I had to convert all my files to mp3. Does it burn as audio?
