Trouble Captureing HDV 720p in Final Cut Pro

I have been given an HDV tape that has HDV 720p recorded on it. I am using a Sony HVR-M15E deck and it will play it back on my preview monitor but it will not show up in the capture window.

I need to get this captured and I have no idea what the recording camera was or what settings it used, other than the HDV 720p because the deck tells me that.
