I just bought a new Mac Mini and bundled it with the new Magic Keyboard 2 and Magic Trackpad 2.

I am able to use the keyboard and trackpad when they are plugged in to the Mac Mini via lightning cable. However, I am unable to get them to connect via Bluetooth. It just shows that it is searching for the device, but it never finds them. They are both turned on so the green is showing in the switch.

What am I missing?

Figured it out. Out of the box, the Mac Mini was running Yosemite 10.10. The new hardware required 10.11. Downloading El Capitan now....that should fix it. Duh!
