Trouble deleting AIM e-mail

I am having trouble deleting an e-mail I received from someone who was using AIM and sent the message on my Gmail account. I can't delete it while using my normal Gmail account cause it seams to only be on my iPhone. If I go to my account using a computer the message isn't there at all. When I try to delete it on my iPhone it keeps saying cannot delete the message. That it was unable to move the message to Trash and it doesn't work when I also try to edit and then delete the message. I have had no trouble at all deleting other messages but this is the only message I have received. Thx for the help!
