Trouble downloading .acsm files

I've got a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard and another MacBook Pro (non intel) running Tiger and I'm having trouble downloading .acsm files for an ebook that I purchased. can anyone help with this issue???

what trouble? That doesn't give anyone much to go on for suggestions for what might be wrong. Have you checked out the site:

When I click on the link to download the file a window pops up and then disappears.... then nothing. The download window doesn't pop up and nothing is downloaded. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips that I've found on the internet... The site that I'm trying to download the ebook from said that I should try to change Safari's security setting to allow the download of .acsm files. I don't know how to do that... I guess that should have been my question.
