Earlier I took some videos with my camera, a Sony DSC-N2, and after importing them into iPhoto I wanted to edit them with iMovie. The files were .mpg and to work with them in iMovie, I knew they have to be .mov so I opened them up in Quicktime (I've got pro, 7.5) and exported them as .mov. The sound was lost in the conversion, though. I looked in the advanced conversion settings and saw that the sound area was unchecked and I couldn't mess with it at all. This has happened before, too. I've included a screenshot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
