Trouble getting IPad baseband on Iphone 3G

I have followed directions to a T on switching from baseband 05.14.04 to 06 for the IPad using redsn0w and when it gets to the second part of the reboot stage it freezes on my computer. I ran redsn0w as an administrator and still nothing. Waited for about 20 mins and redsn0w still just says waiting to reboot. What can be the problem?

Try a restore and then run it again. Try jailbreaking first and then running the iPad baseband update after.

ipad baseband is a bad idea when the unlock is about a week away! baseband upgrade can not be undone.
