Hey ya'll so i was one of the ones that switched over to att from verizon. I got the 32 gig iphone . My question is, has anyone had problems with people getting your text messages? I've had that from a couple people. I dont know if its got something to do with the porting, but its kinda bugging me . Any thoughts?

Are you getting an error message after you send?
How long ago did you port your number to AT&T.
Sometimes it takes time for everything to go thru.

You should call up AT&T to make sure everything on their end is setup correctly.

i had this same issues for a little bit after the port. now i'm just experiencing slow delivery but I do get the messages
Did to me. I'm now getting all my messages although some are delayed 2-5 minutes, but mainly from people with Verizon if i'm not in an active conversation. Meaning, if they just sent me a message out of the blue, it would take a while for me to get it. After i reply, i get their messages almost instantaneously as long as they reply quickly
Who are you not receiving them from? I ported over from Alltel and wasn't getting any from Alltel/Verizon customers, they said at the ATT store that someone came in right before me and had the same problem. They gave me a new SIM card and its worked since then.
i wasn't recieving from verizon customers. i ported from verizon and only about a day and a half after the port was i not recieving them. i recieved text messages instantly from other att customers except for a picture message that took a whole day to be delivered but i heard that was normal
I was getting them from ATT too, not Verizon/Alltel. I'd go to an ATT store and see if they'll give you a new SIM card.
i never went to att or got a new sim card.....i just waited it out and it started working fine eventually. if you still get the same problem after a couple days, then ya try to get one
o nope haha. i WAS having issues, but it's all good for me now. i thought there was another person you and i were coaching in here...oops haha
