Hi,

I just bought a used eMac, and was trying to import songs from Limewire into iTunes to burn a CD, but can't figure out how to do it (even after reading the help files). Does anyone know a quick and simple way to do this?

Thanks

Try making iTunes the default for internet music playback (in iTunes preferences) then just double click the file in Limewire.

Sadly (for me) this is an OS 9 solution but I'm sure there is similar in OSX

Thank you Winston, I will try that solution.

As for the dragging and dropping, unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

Thanks again

check your limewire preferences also. make sure you do not use limewire's included media player. then clicking the "launch" button in limewire should open the file in itunes.

btw- which versions of each program are you using?

I will definitely check the preferences in iTunes. I am at work, and don't know which version of each I am using. I just downloaded Limewire last night, so I'm sure it's the latest version (which ever that might be).

Thank you all for your suggestions. If I run into problems tonight, I will be sure to check back in with you all.

Thanks!
