Hi there, I have a G4 iMac and I am trying to install iLife 06 on it so we can start recording some voice audio stuff with Garageband 3. I pop the disc in, double click the install pkg and then nothing happens. Restarted, did the same thing, nothing. It says that the installer is open on the task bar but no activity is going on.
I would run the automatic updater but this is OS X 10.1.5 and so I have to scour Apple for the releases. I'm really frustrated as I need this to record something for the weekend and now I have to probably put it off.
I am thinking about reformatting the computer, but then I have to scour for updates etc as nothing seems to be in the one location. What should I do? Has anyone else had this problem?
