Hey guys, so I'm trying to install Windows 7 on a 2011 iMac for a friend (using Mac OS 10.6.8). We just formatted the drive and did a fresh install of Snow Leopard on the 1tb drive. Even though it's formatted as a single partition (journaled), it's still giving us the error "startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition, must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended volume..."

Why is it telling us this when it is indeed formatted as a single partition? I've read other threads where people were having trouble because they had lots of large files on their hard drives, but that's not the case here because there's nothing on the hard drive.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks :)
