Trouble playing a 720p video downloaded from itunes

I just downloaded a season of a TV show in the HD format ... 720 to be precise. When I try to play it on my 6 month old Macbook Air, I get "This move can be played only on displays that support HCCP", and then my computer freezes up. I called applecare and talked to 2 different people and they seem totally confused as to why I'm getting this message. I have no external displays plugged in to my computer or anything at all and all of my software is up to date. Does anyone here have a clue as to what's going on with this??
