I've got this DVD (DVD-RW) that I'm trying to play on my iMac G5. It won't play and instead says "Disc not supported". However, when I put the DVD in my Windows computer at work, it plays just fine.

Does anyone know how I can get my iMac to play it. It plays other DVDs without any problems. Is there a setting I need to change?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, from your info it sounds like your drive is being picky about the RW. Another thought would be that it was made for a windows only pc. This would allow it to play in/on other pcs/dvd players but not in the iMac.
It is very likely that your drive doesn't like the "brand" of media as well, this seems to happen more than one would think. As for making it play, you may be out of luck sorry to say
