I'm having trouble printing on the backs of some postcards that I had made. I was able to do this just fine the other day, but now that I need to do a batch for real, it's not working.

I've got a mail-merged Pages document containing the text I want printed. I defined a custom size in Page Setup for 5.5" x 4.25", the exact size of the postcards. I stick one in the printer (actually a piece of regular paper I cut to the same size so I don't mess up my postcards in the attempt), it feeds through, and comes out completely blank. The other day, it printed fine after a few attempts.

Now, I have had two different results when I print on regular paper, leaving the print size the same. I either get the postcard printed on the bottom left corner of a standard 8.5"x11" page, or I get it dead center. Regardless, when I run a postcard size piece of paper through, I get nothing printed at all.

Like I said, this worked fine the other day, so it's very irritating to try and troubleshoot now.

For basic information, I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.3, Pages '09, and printing to a Brother HL-1870N laser printer.

Any help?
