I dropped my iphone 3Gs and shattered the digitizer. Everything still works but the LCD screen is yellow. So I bought a complete digitizer/LCD assembly and swapped them out.

But now the phone only boots to the apple logo, then it restarts and goes to the apple screen again..and again...and again. I did the restore in iTunes trick but after it restored it did the same thing. So I hooked back up the broken screen and it boots up fine. Could there be a problem with the LCD screen??? How could a bad Digitizer/LCD screen prevent it from booting up?

UPDATE: I tried booting up with the new digitizer, but I disconnected the #3 cable and Wa-LA it's on.......but now what the hell am I supposed to do??
