Ok so here goes. Since Monday I have reformatted my MacBook 3 times. The last time I did it it wouldn't recognize any thing I had connected with the exception of my external hd where my backups are. It took me forever just to figure how to get access to that HD in the first place. After I restored I took a suggestion to reset the PRAM. Mac wouldn't boot after that. So I had to redo a boot from disk 3 times before it took. What the heck is going on??? Can someone point me to the right information so that I get this right his time. I need to know how to restore SUCESSFULLY using migration Assistant. I got some errors about system files not being rightas time and that's when my tv tuner and iPhone wouldn't get recognized. HELP!!!!
