Hi everyone

I just downgraded my iphone 3g from version 3.1(7c144) and modem firmware 05.11.07

to 3.0 using a link here to a utube video and following the instructions.

Prior to doing this I backed up my phone

So the downgrade seems to have worked but my problem is when I try to restore my backup so that i can get my contacts, and texts messages etc back I get an error massage saying that my iphone software is too old.

Is there a way to get my backup data back onto my phone?

Thanks for any help!

Nate

I doubt it. 3.1 was buggy as hell (phone would frequently go into coma and not wake up for 5+ minutes at a time), but 3.1.2 is pretty solid, so why not just upgrade to that, which *will* allow you to restore from a backup?
