Trouble seeing messages effects in iOS 10

Anyone else have this issue? I just see an extra message like: "sent with fireworks". Reduce motion is off, and it's an iPhone SE.

You have to disable and enable iMessage in settings.

I did a clean install so it just worked, but my girlfriend did an update and was getting the same as you. I disabled iMessage in her phone and after enabling it again it worked as expected.
