trouble (several apps on iBook acting up)

today my Ibook is crazy:
-quick time is not working;
-office is not working;
-there is no sounds;
-iTunes doesn't play music, downloads podcast but doesn't play music.

What can I do?

First you could try telling us a little more . What are the specs of your iBook? What's happening when you try to open those programs? Any recent hardware or software changes? Give a little more detail and somebody is bound to help you out.
