Hey everyone,
I've bad my MacBook pro for a few years now and have never really had any major problems. This morning when I woke my computer from sleep the white light stayed lit up and nothing appeared on the screen. I shut it down and turned it on again but hard drive made the usual noises and never properly turned on. The white light stays on and the computer never makes the chiming noise. I tried unplugging the adapter and taking the battery out and everything, but still no luck; the white light just stays on when I turn it on without making the chiming noise and the screen stays black.

Any tips for how to troubleshoot this? I use my MBP for school and work, so I need it working again ASAP!

Thanks,
Mat
