So from what i understand there is no Mac version of Internet Explorer that i can use on certain websites that require it.

Is there any kind of plugin for Firefox or Safari that i can use as a workaround??

I need to do some work at home and need to log into a site that only works with Internet Explorer. Any help will be appreciated.

You can try enabling the Develop menu in Safari's advanced preferences, and then selecting User Agent->Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, 8.0. Firefox should also generally be capable of loading websites which "require Internet Explorer." You really should get on the webmaster's case for only allowing correct viewing/loading through a particular web browser...

Yeah i tried both and still no luck.:(

If the site requires ActiveX or something like that that's specific to Win IE, you'll have to use Win IE. If you don't have Parallels, VMWare and/or a copy of Windows to install VIA Bootcamp, you can try ie4osx.
