installing lion went seamless on both my macbook pro and my mac pro! yeah! 
but... on my mac pro's monitor, which is an LG, the sub-pixel smoothing won't work. font's look godawful. on macbook pro, it works fine.
i've tried the terminal command that goes something like, global FontSmoothing -2 (sorry for not quoting that exactly) but it's still not working. any help would be great. thanks all. happy computing.
