Admittedly in the last 6 years I have never used boot camp. I've been trying to get a copy of Windows 7 or 8 to work. I have the iso downloaded, a thumb drive, product key Etc.
Every time I get past the point where it loads up my thumb drive, it asks for an installation disc. It gives me no other options before or after to use the iso I've already downloaded.
What am I missing here?

You need to burn it to a dvd. Only certain MacBook allows usb installation and your is not one of them.

Appreciate it. Is it as simple as burning the iso to a DVD and then installing it that way?
Felt like such an idiot for the last month because not a single Article or News Group has mentioned that.
