trouble with DVD or CD share from PC windows 7 to osx lion macbook air

I have installed DVD or CD sharing update for windows on my PC with Windows 7 pro and have enabled sharing there. On my macbook air with LION I have asked to use the disk drive on the PC and have accepted the request on the PC. My Macbook air is stuck on" waiting for disk drive..." I have tried several times and I can't get past this point. Any ideas?
