I have a bunch of adapters and and trying to connect my old vga monitor to my Macbook Pro. I plugged in a thunderbolt (/mdp) to dvi adapter which I know works well and then a dvi to vga adapter into that. The laptop detected the display but won't show any picture on it. The monitor is 50hz but my mac wont display a 50hz option. Any ideas what to do?
