I'm seeing some consistent issues with a number of Firefox add-ons. I've been trying to get Firefox to display downloads in a tab, rather than a separate window, and I've tried the following add-ons:
Custom Download Manager
Download Manager Tweak
Downloads in Tab
Here are the issues:
1. All of them display a menu bar at the bottom of the tab window. I'm guessing this is a XUL menu bar and maybe just gets displayed as part of a XUL window, but I don't know anything about XUL really (it's the Firefox menu bar with all menus and options).
2. For two of them, the Options pane doesn't have a Save or OK button, so you have to restart Firefox to get rid of it. I'm sure I've seen this before with another extension I tried too.
I tried searching the web for this issue but nothing came up. Is this a problem unique to my setup or do these issues happen for anyone else? Using Firefox 3.5.5 on Snow Leopard.
Thanks.
