Trouble with iCloud

I bought a 4S and now I am replacing it with a 6. I have sold the 4S and I want to delete it from Find My Phone on iCloud and for the life of me cannot figure out how to do it. iCloud will display both phones but no where is there any delete button to remove the phone. How do I do it?

Download the Find My iPhone app. Swipe left on old devices and tap remove.

Curious, does this also mean he left his icloud intact on the old phone, possibly screwing (inadvertently) its new owner?

Yes I did leave it intact, but I did a system restore so I thought that would wipe that out.

I have not shipped it yet.

I have been to that page many times and it simply doesn't work.

"Click All Devices, select the offline device, then click Remove from Account."

There is no place to click Remove from Account after I select it.
