Trouble with iPad 4 interfacing Youtube to change public status

I am having Trouble with iPad 4 interfacing Youtube to change to public status from unlisted. Seems like the interface screen is all different from that my iMac has and they are hiding things to prevent clutter. Neat is nice for Steve Jobs, but I'd rather be able to find things without wasting hours and being delayed for days. So far I am sorry I bought this $1,200 device that is a battery draining pain in the ass that can't do anything my $600 Experia Z smart phone from Sony can't do. Please tell me how to change the public status on my existing film on Youtube. I'll take function over form any day.
