So for at least a year, maybe longer, my iOS devices (2G iPod touch, 4G iPod touch, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4) have all had the same problem, which is because they're all from the same backup. My iPhone can't seem seem to remember the password for restoring settings, either that or I can't remember it. Every now and then I'd enable one for the lockscreen, but I've tried that passcode and it didn't work. I've tried everything I can think of so maybe one of my friends set the passcode and never told me, or maybe it for some reason thinks there's a passcode when there's not and that's why it always says it was incorrect? Oh, and I believe I have the same problem with the "restrictions" settings. Anyway, is there anyway to get around this or someone else had this problem? I'm well aware I could just put it in DFU or restore mode and go from there, but then the problem would appear after restoring from backup again and I'd rather not lose a backup I've had since my 2nd gen iPod touch four years ago and all my pictures and whatnot.
