I think it's a hard drive issue.

I've got a MatsushitaDVDR -UJ85J. I'm trying to burn iTunes onto Dynex DVD-R, 16x/120 Min/4.7 GB. When I put the disc in, I'm asked if I want to do an audio CD, MP3CD or a data DVD. Regardless of which option I choose, I get this message: "You have inserted a bland DVD but originally selected a CD format. Are you sure you wish to create a data DVD instead? Data DVDs are only usable in computers with a DVD drive. Burning a DVD may take as long as and hour." The two options then are "cancel" and "Data DVD".

Whichever option I choose, it says "initializing" an then "Burning Disk, this may take up to an hour." Then, i get a vibrating noise from the hard drive, and after a minute or so, it pops out the disc, and I get the following error code: "The attempt to burn a disc failed. The device failed to respond properly, unable to recover or retry."

I can burn onto a Memorex CD-R. But I want the extra space on the DVD, and I thought my DVD drive should be able to burn iTunes onto DVD.
