I just purchased an open-box 9.7 iPad Pro from Best Buy this week since they were on sale and I'm experiencing some problems with my Apple Pencil (brand new). I'm running 9.3.2.
When I first paired the Pencil it worked great, palm rejection worked perfectly. But I would stop using the pencil for about an hour, come back and use it and the iPad would clearly be detecting my palm. My pen strokes would be disconnected (screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/inZFp), sometimes it would draw a line from my last stroke to where my palm sat, and sometimes small marks would show up where my palm was. This would happen in any app I tried: Notes, Notability, OneNote. The only solution was to unpair and re-pair the Pencil again but again it would work great right after pairing and sometimes for a few hours, but all of a sudden when I would leave for half an hour and come back, the same problem would occur.
Could this be a problem with the iPad since I bought it open box? Should I return it? I feel like if I took it to an Apple Store they would just tell me to keep unpairing and repairing it. I can't reproduce the problem consistently since the time between when it works and when it doesn't varies.
