When I connect my iPhone to my iMac it doesn't give me the option to delete already imported photos like I used to get in iPhoto. Instead It shows me all the photos on my phone, and an option up top to click a box to delete after import, at which point I import the photos (which are now duplicates because they have already been uploaded through photo stream) and THEN it will delete them from my camera roll.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a setting I'm missing, or does Photos just suck completely. I hate it.

I'm in the process of uploading my photos to Google Photos, but even that was a semi-disaster because of the stupid way that Apple organizes the photos on the Mac. I just wound up copying them all to a separate folder, and then uploading that to the Google. From here on out It'll just sync my iPhone photos and my DSLR memory card. Hopefully it works out.
