Anyone been having trouble pre-ordering the series 9?

I’ve tried to do it all week - up until now, just after midnight ET on the 22nd and still can’t order a new Apple Watch … why is that? I get the full process complete but I can never add it to my bag- every section is complete.

Why advertise that you can order it, when you can’t? 😅

Lots of people seem to have been ordering it ok. Are you missing an option? AppleCare? Cellular? Can you post screenshots of the full order page. Excluding any personal details of course.

Or Apple chat of course - That’s probably your best route.

Some screenshots … I even tried the “buy” option and nothing happened. Even went on the Apple website on my Mac and tried it that way, but still can’t get to add to bag option to highlight. Tried it as soon as “pre-orders” were available.

Update: all magnetic loops are unavailable to order due to being out of stock… I contacted Apple. I also kindly asked them to maybe put a small alert saying that they are unavailable since that would be helpful when on the order screen.

Magnetic Loops have been unavailable since the pre-order went live. Selecting a different band solved the issue for everyone that ran into this.

Not sure if it’s widely known but the magnetic bands are not water resistant according to Apple. I’m kind of glad they were sold out now considering I submerge my hand in water and also shower with it on every day IMG_2574.png

Really? The ones I’ve had are perfectly fine in water.

Let's be clear here -- lack of "water resistance" just means the band is gonna get wet when exposed to water, which I'd expect to occur with any "textile" band whether fabric or some faux leather microsuade something.

Whether that has an adverse impact is a completely different thing.

My various sport loops are fine in water; wearing them into the shower rinses out the sweat from a workout ride or run. They get wet, they dry out. Everything's hunky dory.

Haven't ever gone with one of the magnetic loops though - don't much feel like trying to fish my watch off the lake bottom. A sport loop, if it comes undone, doesn't automatically come off the wrist.
