Hi,

My mom's trying to get photos from her camera (sorry, i don't know the model- but i remember it's not on Apple's "list of supported cameras). Anyway, iPhoto imported the photos from it with ease at first. THEN, she got a bigger memory card. Now, iPhoto doesn't seem to acknowledge the camera.

Is there any way to get these photos onto the computer? 3rd party software or something?

Thanks~!

For a 1st step, try using just image capture (should be in your utilities folder).

I'm guessing you don't have a card reader handy, but if so that might work as well.

she just bought a card reader, but i'm hoping she can return it. We got a mac partially because i went on and on about its compatibility with 3rd party devices, adn now we're having this issue!

I'll let you know if imagecapture solves the issue... what does imagecapture do that iphoto doesn't?
