iPod touch Trouble with Wi-Fi

I just got a new wireless router this morning. The problem is, when I go to networks on my ipod touch, I can see my router there and when i type my password i can't get in. Anyone know if there is a solution to help me get online on my ipod touch. All help is greatly appreciated. :D
 
Does it give you an error? If so, reset your modem/router (unplug em both for 1 min, then back in)

Then if that doesn't work, login to your router and disable the password (then reboot again) and see if you can connect
 
It just says "failed to join network" then i have to click ok or cancel whatever it is. How do I change my password on this thing? Im at the site but i cant find what tab its under.
 
Should be under wireless encryption or something to that affect, or like WPA password
