So I finally got a chance to try out my new dongle with my HDTV today and I'm having a little bit of trouble. It is my understanding that all you have to do is plug the HDMI cable to the dongle and to the TV and then attach the dongle to the MDP port on the laptop.

So when I did that, I fired up my MBP and then the HDTV screen displayed the white bootup screen and then the factory "space" screensaver for a couple moments and then it went back to "Check Signal Cable/Weak or No Signal".

I tried unplugging in every way possible, restarting and unplugging some more, I tried adjusting my resolution on my display system preferences and also clicked the detect displays button, but that didn't seem to do anything.

So when I'm using the screen on my MBP and then I unplug the MDP dongle, the screen goes blue for a quick second, so I know that it realizes that the Dongle is connected to it.

What is weird is that I know it works because I got that split second on the TV.

Thoughts? I'd really enjoy the help! :apple:
