My iCalendar changes Birthday dates every year. Even though I enter a specific date in my address book, every year my iCalendar moves the birthday date on to the next day i.e. treating it like a meeting on a specific day rather that a set annual date. How can I correct this?

Under iCal>Preferences>General, you have the "Show Birthdays calendar" box checked, correct? That way they should stay the same from year to year as the data is taken from your Address Book. If the above is not correct, how are you entering the birthday dates?

Thanks for your advice. However I do have the Show Birthdays box checked!?! I'm not sure of what I am doing that is wrong. I enter the birthday dates in the Address Book template and then hit save. I am working on an iBook G4 that is getting close to 5 years old now. I update it regularly though. Do you think that has any bearing on what is happening?

I have the same problem and I am running a MacPro early 2008 with SL with all the updates...
