Hi all,
I recently imported all my digital photos going back to 1999 into the latest iPhoto (v7.x, I think) and am loving it. However, there were two issues I found recently that I wondered if anyone had any insight on.
1) I have a .Mac account and created a web gallery. It worked great out of the gate, but at some point it started getting out of sync between the web gallery in iPhoto and what was actually being shown on the web. It seemed like some photos were showing duplicates in iPhoto but not on the web, even when I manually resynced. Deleting photos from the web gallery in iPhoto produced random results, where sometimes it did nothing, and other times it deleted the wrong picture. I only "solved" this problem by clearing out the web gallery in iPhoto and then creating it again.
2) Every now and then, the spinning beachball will come up when I double click on a photo to view it and iPhoto will freeze. Strangely, switching to another application using Apple+tab ends the freeze immediately.
Anybody seen these issues and, hopefully, have dealt with them successfully?
Cheers,
Bill
p.s. I'm using an aluminum 20" 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo iMac w/ 4GB RAM
