MP 1,1-5,1 TRRS Microphone / Headphone Mic In on Bootcamp? (5,1)

It's been long known that the the Microphone / Headphone port on the 4,1 / 5,1 as well as other Mac's don't allow you to use a Microphone when booted into Windows.

Does anyone have any insight as to what would be needed to fix this problem? Is it looking up and installing different Realtek drivers? Something else?

Wanted to reach out and see if anyone else is bothered by this or has any insight on how to fix it.
