I'm looking for something like the Sik Imp for the 3G iPhone. I read somewhere that Sik said they were working on an Imp for the 3G iPhone, but in the meantime is there anything else out there? I'm looking for just audio out, I don't need a charging solution.

Thanks.

Not sure if you're still looking....I have one of these for my ipod, have not tried it with my 3g, but should work fine. Had mine for about a year, works great. There are other brands available as well on amazon, just do a search

BrokenE,

If you get a chance, could you try that plug with the 3G? I had almost the same exact cable for my 4th Gen iPod Classic (before I switched to iPhone), and assumed it would perform the same line-out function. When I plugged it into the iPhone 3G, it just wouldn't work.

I did a quick search, and I think I read something about the pin config being different between the iPod Classic and the new iPhone. Now I just use a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm through the headphone jack.
