True Tone should be working especially for photos since I would imagine that was one of the main apps Apple wanted to have similar color balance across all lighting conditions.

Sounds like a bug.

I can imagine it getting disabled on an iPad Pro because they expect it to be used for image editing and color work. True Tone alters images from their natural appearance.

iPhone Pro not so much.

That makes a lot of sense, and if true, I really disagree with Apple. Don’t people buy the Pro Max to do “pro” work? Like video and photo editing?

maybe they don’t ?‍♂️
