True Tone Faulty

Hi all

Yesterday I visited computer store and try two MacBook M chip on desk side by side. They are 13 inch and 15 inch. When I turn off true tone on MacBook 13 inch, the screen became cool color temperature / bluish and turn on true tone it became warm / yellowish but turn on and off true tone on MacBook 15 inch the color temperature still cool / bluish. Does it indicate the MacBook 15 inch true tone is faulty ?

Might just be the localized lighting around that 15" - no way to know without actually being there.

The 15" on the same desk side by side with other MacBook in same room with same lighting.

As I said - no way to know from your description. Could be lighting (your judgement notwithstanding), could be settings, could be crud on the sensor. Jumping from "I see this unusual behavior" to "Must be faulty" is a big leap.
