Can anyone elaborate on this? (explain it like I'm a 10 year old type deal)
To my understanding it's there so just in case their site gets hacked and someone switches out the download link to direct to something malicious or a maybe a bootleg version of truecrypt with intentions other than encrypting your files...
If the above is correct, how does one go about verifying the signature? I can't for my life figure this out, once they direct me to a third party source. I've tried googling, youtubing, and searching here but there is no much discussed in regards to verifying the signatures.. (if the above was wrong, please elaborate)
Explain this **** to me like I'm 10 please!
*I'm on Mac osx 10.6.8 if that matters. I've also boot camped windows 7 if that route is easier or more secure...
