I have a 2012 and 2018 Mini and I have moved on from the 2012. It served me well since 2013. I have tried various Linux Distro's and was now looking for something close to the look of macOS. Keep in mind there are many ways to make your Linux Distro look like macOS or even Windows. I recently tried Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and right out of the box without doing any customizations or installing any tweaks get it to look similar to macOS, even with a Dock to launch your apps. It's breathed new life into my 2012 Mini. I just hate throwing things away that are still functional.

One of the reasons I like Ubuntu, is that it's the Big Player in the Linux world and as such they have switched to long term service instead of new distributions every 6-8 months. Anyways, Linux is not for everybody but I do like that it's a fully featured OS that's stable and lets me do all the basics.
