Hi,

I'm trying to connect my HD PVR to my Macbook Pro so I can record the screen from my other Macbook Pro without lagging this one.

Due to the PVR only accepting component inputs, it's a bit tricky. Here's my current setup:

ef1cb97016

Digital to analog video converter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0096Q89UW

I'm using EyeTV on the secondary MacBook Pro, and it's displaying 'No Signal' when connected to the HD PVR. My primary MacBook seems to be outputting the signal though, when I open up System Preferences->Displays and 'Gather Windows,' a window for a display called 'CAT-6066' shows up. It's set to 1080p, Mirror Mode, 60Hz. All of my connections seem tight, everything that needs to be plugged in is, and I can't figure out what's wrong. Is one of the components I'm using wrong? Is this even possible?

I have used the MiniDisplay -> DVI -> HDMI setup for my external monitor and it works fine, so I don't think that is the problem.

**EDIT**
So, I tried connecting the component output from the converter box directly to my external monitor rather than the PVR, and my monitor displays my screen, though it's really low quality.

Thanks!
