Trying to connect my Macbook to my Panasonic Viera HDTV

I just bought a Netflix account and would like to watch videos from their streaming player on my HDTV. What would be the best way to connect my Macbook (2006 model) to my Panasonic Viera HDTV? I would love to have great audio and picture quality. Thanks!
