Trying to decide on external monitor

I am currently looking at the Dell SP 2309W. It gets very good reviews and is at the high end of my price range (up to 260 EUR). However, it is already 1,5 years old.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a 23-24" external monitor around 200-250 EUR?

I have BenQ E2400 which I've been satisfied of. It's matte and has great inputs, DVI, HDMI and VGA.

I would go to a store and have a look. That's the best way

I would be using it mostly for watching movies. Maybe the Samsung P2370 is a better alternative?

I haven't seen that in person but have heard good about it. I would go to a store and take look and play around with them. That's the best way of picking one that suits for you
