Trying to decide on which OWC portable drive

I am looking for a portable external hard drive and can't decide between the following two. One is the on the go which is acrylic and the other one is elite AL mini. I would appreciate some advice. Thanks

Unless you need the E-SATA Port... the Acrylic one is what I would go with. It's cheaper in price and just seem less clunky looking.. "smaller".

Thanks for the reply. I will be using FW 800. Is it worth getting 7200 RPM over the 5400?

The speed is faster but for an external storage device.... I just don't think it makes a difference. It's not like you will be booting programs from the drive so 5400 should suffice.
